otnote to the crazy Vikings game // (Scott Johnson).
When asked what was said in the Vikings locker room at halftime, when they were trailing 33-0 to the Colts, quarterback Kirk Cousins stated that Patrick Peterson said the following: “All you need is five touchdowns.” Cousins suggested that he wondered if Peterson was being sarcastic until he saw him. Cousins stated, “When I looked at his face, he seemed serious.” “I think his point was that they won’t let them score anymore. So if you can score five touchdowns, that will suffice. ‘”
The tweet below includes a footnote about Peterson’s halftime lucubrations. It provides a close-up view of the Vikings’ locker room after-game, as well as the play-by-play calls. It catches offensive tackle Christian Darrisaw standing on the sideline during a game, commenting: “Hey! We ain’t giving up!”. It also catches Harrison Phillips commenting succinctly to a teammate after the game, “Grind if you ever had one.” That’s all we have, baby.
The #Vikings has released an 8-minute video that shows the greatest comeback in NFL history. It includes sideline reactions and audio from the players. It’s worth a look.
