ncerous presidency // (Scott Johnson).

I am particularly interested in the reverberations from the Twitter Files in New York Post pages. Their reporting on the Biden family corruption has been suppressed in advance of the 2020 presidential election. Today Post columnist Michael Goodwin writes a mostly understated column, which gets to the end.

What if the FBI violated the First Amendment rights to ordinary Americans? What if the FBI was part of an intelligence-officer-led conspiracy to label the Biden laptop disinformation?

Fair journalists would have grabbed the complicated, complex story with both hands if they believed themselves patriots first. Today, media shrugs are common in response to evidence of FBI interference during an election. This is because they share the same goal: removing Donald Trump.

Consider this possibility. The FBI knows that Joe Biden is corrupt and has compromised his dealings with China, America’s other enemies, and because it has the laptop and other information,

Two implications are possible if this is true.

As John Dean famously stated about Nixon, we have in Biden “a cancer on top of the presidency.”

The FBI has also returned to J. Edgar Hoover’s ethos. He kept his job for almost five decades by keeping records of dirt on presidents and senators.
