* It is always difficult to keep up with the changing standards of the left. To illustrate:

The Left: Churchill is a racist and imperialist warlord who must be cancelled

Also, the left (last week). Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Churchill of our times, must be celebrated!

I’m confused.

What’s the deal with the electricity grid? I don’t mean all of the “green energy”, nonsense that is slowly destroying the grid; rather there seems to be relative silence regarding what appears to be a growing campaign to sabotage the grid.

In 2013, a sniper attacked with a 50-cal weapon. It took out a major Substation south of San Jose. This raised alarms about possible terrorist plots. Some authorities dismissed the attack. “The F.B.I. “The F.B.I. at this time does not believe that it is related to terrorist, based upon the initial assessment of investigation,” Peter Lee, an agency spokesperson in San Francisco, told New York Times. Other officials were less reassuring. Jon B. Wellinghoff (the chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission during the San Jose attack) stated Wednesday that he believed the attack was terrorism and that it was carried out by “a group who were intent on disrupting parts the grid.”

It has happened again, but this time it was in the Seattle-Tacoma region:

Three attacks on electrical substations have affected thousands. Investigation underway

Three substations of power in East Pierce County, operated by Puget Sound Energy and Tacoma Public Utilities, were vandalized and attacked on Sunday morning. This caused power outages that affected thousands of customers. Graham was the center of the affected area.

According to a statement by TPU, the attacks were preceded with a warning from federal authorities citing a potential threat to the local electric grid. The utility did not provide details about the exact nature of the attack other than to say it happened early Sunday morning. According to the Pierce County Sheriff’s office unknown persons broke into the substations and damaged equipment.

All three incidents were described by the police as burglaries. . .

Burglaries? Ohhh–kay. But ZeroHedge reports are:

The highest number of attacks on the electric grid in a single year was recorded in the first eight months.

This sounds like eco-terrorism. It doesn’t stop greenhouse gas emissions if you paint artworks in museums and stick yourself to the wall. It might be possible to cut off the electricity grid.

* Doctors will soon start prescribing books. Is the pharmaceutical industry going to create a pill that we can take?

People who learn HTML live longer than those who don’t, Yale researchers have found.

Bookworms rejoice! A new study published in the journal Social Science and Medicine has found that people who read books live longer.

Yale University researchers surveyed 3,635 people over 50 about their reading habits. . . The researchers found that both groups of readers lived longer lives than those who didn’t read the study.

I will live forever. Refresher:
