d in the Arctic // (John Hinderaker).
It’s not the Arctic. Minnesota. Alex Rodriguez is now part owner of the Minnesota Timberwolves. Many consider them the most godforsaken professional sports franchise. Perhaps A-Rod could change that. He does however now reside in Minnesota and appears to own a home there. He had to deal with the snow that fell over his head earlier this week. Allegedly. This is what he posted on Instagram:
Axios expressed doubt, citing Minnesotans who can be fooled when shoveling snow.
Yes, but – This is a large driveway. A-Rod can certainly afford snow removal, and the sticker is still on your shovel.
That’s a great point!
* Plus, what about those tire tracks?
Um, yeah. They are. It was a difficult snowfall, even for mechanized shovelers. A snow plow got stuck in mine driveway.
The reply: Many of his followers were skeptical, even his former nemesis Johnny Damon who wrote, “Video or i ain’t buying”
* A-Rod replied: “ha ok!! Video coming your way! Miss you my guy!! !”
What he did Despite A-Rod’s 15-second follow up video showing him shoveling, many still doubted the extent of his abilities.
By numbers: Axios Twin Cities conducted a poll on Instagram. As of Thursday morning, 94% (or 705 voters) said he didn’t do it.
* “That’s called cleaning after a snowblower went though,” Teresa F., a follower, added.
* “The video reminds of my younger brother in 70’s trying look like he is helping to shovel. . . “NOT,” an Axios reader wrote in a e-mail.
It would take approximately a week to shovel that driveway. It was a tedious task that A-Rod did not complete. To be fair, though he may have been joking. I hope he stays in Minnesota long enough for something to be done about the Wolves.
