Podcast: PLU Lesson 3-Federalist 11-19, Tomorrow // (Steven Hayward).
Tomorrow, Power Line University will be live in class at 4pm Pacific (7pm Eastern) and continuing our discussion of The Federalist. This week, I’ll be the main presenter. I’ll discuss some very interesting things Hamilton, Madison have to say on several issues in Federalist11 – 20, including taxation, leaving Europe in rearview mirror, what they meant with the “new science and politics” and whether they were wrong in some details about how our constitution would function in practice.
We’ll then take a closer look Federalist 23 and, if time permits, move on to numbers 27, 28, 33 and 37.
