An 18-year-old girl is suing a California hospital for having her breasts removed when she was only 13 years older. Layla Jane, 18, claimed that she had been greatly influenced by virtual people when she was 11 years old and wanted to be a boy. Jane’s parents started taking her to the doctor after she told them how she was feeling.
After just one session with a psychologist named Susanne Watson, she was given hormones and puberty blockers.
Perhaps more shockingly, Jane was informed that she could have her breasts removed after only 30 minutes with plastic surgeon Dr. Winnie Tong.
Jane received a double mastectomy after just six months of taking puberty blockers.
The lawsuit claims that Layla Jane, who had a double mastectomy at the age of 13, did no question, elicit, or try to comprehend the internal events that led Kayla to the mistaken belief that she was trans, nor did they assess, appreciate, and treat her multifaceted presentation of co-morbid symptoms.

According to the lawsuit,” Defendants assumed that Kayla, a 12-year-old physically troubled girl, knew best what she needed to improve her mental health and literally handed her the prescription pad.” ” There is no other field of medicine where surgeons will intentionally cause a diseased state of adrenal gland misfunction based solely on the wishes of the adolescent patient who is in the process of becoming an adult.”
Kaiser Foundation Hospitals and the Permanente Medical organizations, both of which are a part of the Kaiser Permanent organization, are the lawsuit’s defendants.
Jane, who was born Kayla Lovdahl, has” detransitioned” and is once more identifying as a woman.
She is receiving psychotherapy for mental health issues, such as a social anxiety disorder, which is the kind of care that should have been provided to her initially rather than an inevitable surgical procedure.
Jane said in an interview with The Epoch Times,” No one – none of my doctors– tried anything to make me pleasant in my body, or effectively pushed back or asked questions, they just affirmed.”
The law, according to Jane, prevents kids from making major decisions that could have long-term effects like getting tattoos, driving with friends, drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes, or actually voting. Therefore, why is it appropriate for 13-year-olds to choose to mutilate their bodies?
” Kaiser continues to engage in the quackery of subjecting innocent children to irreversible sex mimicry treatment, including drugs and surgery, without informed consent ,” said Harmeet Dhillon, CEO of the Center for American Liberty, which is defending Jane in her lawsuit.
According to Dhillon,” The skilled professionals in Layla’s case, along with many others, have substituted woke ideology for biologically accepted standards of care, including lying to and manipulating vulnerable patients and families.” ” We intend to highly discourage Kaiser’s factory-line approach that permanently mutilated an unknown number of American children, subjecting them to a lifetime of harm, regret, and health consequences. We are committed to holding them accountable for the harm done to Layla.”
