Antony Blinken, the secretary of state, gives China the go-ahead to invade Taiwan, saying,” We do not support Taiwan independence.”

Secretary of State Antony Blinken gave China the go-ahead to invade Taiwan during his visit to Beijing, China, claiming that the US” does not support Taiwan independence.” Following their meeting, Chinese President Xi Jinping and S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken( left ), respectively, made remarks that were in stark contrast to Joe Biden’s earlier assertions that Taiwan should be freed from Chinese rule.
Blinken remarked,
” On Taiwan, I reiterated a long-standing U.S.” One China” policy. That rule remains the same. The Taiwan Relations Act, three shared communiques, and the six assurances serve as its guiding principles. Taiwan’s independence is certainly something we support. We continue to oppose any coercive adjustments to either side’s status quo. We continue to hope that cross-state disputes will be peacefully resolved.

Democratic lawmakers criticized Blinken’s remarks right away.
Sen. Marsha Blackburn( R-Tennessee ) tweeted that” Blinken flew to Communist China to appease Xi Jinping and declare that the Biden administration does not support Taiwan’s independence.” Why won’t this administration defend freedom and oppose bullies?

Rep. Ben Cline( R-Va. ) criticized Blinken’s statement for” giving China a green light to increase its intimidation of our ally, Taiwan ,” calling it” a dangerous display of weakness towards our adversaries on the world stage.”
Biden stated to Japanese reporters in May 2022 that if China invaded Taiwan, the United States would” get involved physically” to defend Taiwan.
These remarks were soon retracted by White House staff, who insisted that Biden had misspoken.
Are you prepared to engage in military action to defend Taiwan?

Biden also pledged to use American forces to protect Taiwan from Chinese rule in September 2022.
The meeting between Blinken and President Xi was the highest-level American official visit to Beijing in nearly five years. Xi expressed his hope that the visit would improve relations between Beijing and Washington during the meeting.
According to Xi,” state-to-state interactions should usually be based on mutual respect and sincerity.” I’m hoping that Secretary Blinken’s visit will help to improve relations between China and the US.
China respects US interests and does not seek to oppose or overthrow the US, Xi continued.
The Biden regime continues to show weakness when it comes to the United States’ international policy with China as the threat of a Chinese invasion of Taiwan grows.
