Putin delivers his first speech in front of the public since the Wagner Group’s attempted uprising was thwarted.

Following a revolt by mercenaries from the Wagner group led by Yevgeny Prigozhin, Russian President Vladimir Putin made an effort to regain composure and confidence in his leadership. Next week, Prigozhin claimed that the Russian military had shelled a Wagner position in Ukraine and then released video criticizing the government.
After leaving Ukraine, Prigozhin and his soldiers quickly made their way to the outskirts of Moscow on a” march of justice.”
After negotiations mediated by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko resulted in a quiet resolution, with Putin granting amnesty to Wagner soldiers, his troops dispersed and headed back to Ukraine.
Putin praised the mercenaries for preventing” big bloodshed” in the nation in his first public speech since the uprising was put down.
The biggest threat to the survival of our children and grandchildren is widespread election corruption, according to Trending: A POWERFUL OPEN LETTER To MI Lawmakers As They Vote This Week To Destroy Every Next Hope For Election Integrity.
Sergei Shoigu, the troubled Defense Minister whom Prigozhin sought to remove in his uprising, was even mentioned by Putin.
Prigozhin has frequently criticized Shoigu for failing to arm his soldiers with ammunition during the invasion of Ukraine, as well as other military leaders for tactical errors.
Putin called the march’s leaders” treasoners” and” enemies of Russia” in his speech, despite his best efforts to make amends with the rank-and-file soldiers who carried out the revolt.
Putin’s demand that Prigozhin and his soldiers sign a document that would essentially disband the Wagner group by integrating the mercenaries into Russias regular army infuriated them.
Putin insisted that they would still be required to sign the directive by July 1st.

The most serious threat to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s authority to date, the planning of a weekend uprising, was denounced on Monday as” traitors” who played into the hands of the Ukrainian government and its allies.
Putin attempted to project stability in a five-minute TV address near midnight while speaking in an harsh tone and appearing exhausted. In order to avoid another crisis, he attempted to strike a balance between criticizing the uprising’s perpetrators and avoiding upsetting the majority of the mercenaries and their radical supporters, some of whom are furious with the Kremlin for how they were handling the situation.
Putin praised the rank and file mercenaries for not allowing the situation to degenerate into” major bloodshed ,” despite the fact that his troops are thin in the face of a Ukrainian counteroffensive.
