After the couple’s Spotify contract ended, Bill Simmons, a Spotify executive and podcaster, called Prince Harry and C-list actress Meghan Markle”f *** ing grifters” on his podcast.
He said,” I wish I had been more involved in the negotiation between Meghan and Harry leave Spotify ,” during Simmons’ podcast on Friday.
The F *** ing Grifters, that is. That is the podcast that we ought to have started with them. To try and assist Harry with a podcast idea, I have to get crazy one night and tell the story of the Zoom I had with him. One of my best stories, so screw them. Simmons referred to the grifters.
Simmons has previously voiced his distaste for the imperial couple in a podcast episode from January 2022, brutally criticizing Harry.

You live inf *** ing Montecito, you sell documentaries and podcasts, and nobody cares what you have to say about anything unless you talk about them and just complain about it.”

Harry and Meghan agreed to a podcast contract with Spotify in December 2020 that was reportedly worth around$ 20 million. But, the couple’s production company and the streaming service both declared their” socially agreed” to part ways on Thursday.
” Spotify and Archewell Audio have mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we made together ,” the two parties said in a joint statement.
The Wall Street Journal reported that Spotify cut ties with the couple because they hadn’t” met the productivity benchmarks required to receive the full payout from the deal ,” despite the statement that the split was” mutual.”
When the partnership was first established, it was planned to develop a number of programs. Only one” Archetypes” series was produced, though. The goal of this podcast series was to” investigate, dissect, and subvert the labels that try to hold women back.”
