Cocaine was discovered in the White House library on Sunday night. Officials claim that the area where it was found is only accessible by White House staff and guests.
The New York Post reports that a hazmat squad entered the West Wing during a forced evacuate on Sunday night after an ‘unknown object’ was found. According to officials, the item was identified by a DC firefighter who stated via radio communication that it was a narcotic.
“We have a bar that says cocaine hydrochloride.”
The firefighter told Hazmat to bag it up and remove it.
Secret Service refused comment on the matter beyond stating that further tests would be conducted to confirm the substance is cocaine. Hunter and Joe Biden, who were reportedly at Camp David when substance was discovered, returned to the White House on Tuesday.
