FBI Got a Tip About Fargo Muslim Terrorist in 2021 and Ignored It

The vast majority of Arab terrorists have raised red flags, though no every single one of them has. That includes both the Fargo Muslim terrorist who had some pretty ambitious plans and the Pulse mass murderer. As he traveled through Fargo, North Dakota, Mohammed Barakat had three much guns, four handguns, and a vest with magazines in each pocket. The Downtown Street fair, which draws more than 100,000 visitors, was on its next day and was only five minutes away. Mohamad always made it to any of those locations, despite the fact that he may have been there to exhaust his 1,800 rounds of ammo and hand grenade. According to the first account we received, no one was aware of the Palestinian immigrant’s motivations and he hadn’t previously been accused of having ties to terrorism. That was obviously untrue. The story has been madly spun by Biden’s U.S. attorney. According to North Dakota U.S. Attorney Mac Schneider,” We would share it in regards to motive if we had obvious evidence of that.”
Schneider opted not to comment on whether Barakat was being watched by the FBI. Additionally, he declined to talk about the guardian report.
He wasn’t on the criminal watch list, according to information we have from our provincial partners, but there was this Guardian report, Wrigley said. Inforum, which has done a great job of staying on this story, has discovered the Guardian report.” I’m never going to say little about it except it isn’t, we are told, about the threat of violence or an act of this nature or anything along these lines.” In response to The Forum’s request for information regarding a Guardian Report mentioned by law enforcement officials, the FBI responded to an anonymous tip that was sent to the National Threat Operations Center in July 2021 and expressed concern about Mohamad Barakat ‘ mental state, his access to numerous firearms, and his use of threatening language.
The caller did not, however, say that Barakat had broken any laws or that he had made any distinct threats. In an email, the FBI stated that after receiving the tip, FBI Minneapolis forwarded the situation to the Fargo Police Department.
Over the course of two weeks, Fargo police made three distinct visits to Barakat’s home. During the first and subsequent visits, no contact was made, but on the third visit, detectives did, according to the FBI.
Detectives noted that Barakat had some firearms in the apartment during this visit, but none of them were prohibited. Barakat was no forbidden from getting or owning firearms. Barakat was interviewed by detectives about a tip that had been received, and during that time, he denied having any malice, the agency told The Forum. Because the FBI received information about a Palestinian named Mohamad stockpiling weapons and planning an attack, they instructed the local police to handle the situation, which resulted in the death of an officer and the possible deaths of hundreds. The FBI said in response to The Forum’s request that no more action could be taken because there was no proof of any continued illegal activity or signs of an impending threat.
An open records request for any incident reports that mentioned Barakat was previously turned down by the Fargo Police Department. According to Jean Syverson, records office manager for the Fargo Police Department, this includes police reports submitted prior to the shooting at the BCI and FBI’s request.
The information you requested cannot be made public until their case is resolved or rendered passive, she said.
Drew Wrigley, the attorney general of North Dakota, acknowledged the existence of a Guardian Report on Barakat, 37, who arrived in the United States in 2012 after receiving asylum from his local Syria.
He claimed that the FBI immediately showed interest in Barakat following the shooting on July 14 and that state and local law enforcement were appreciative of the organization’s assistance.
What are they not telling us, though, we wondered? During a follow-up interview with The Forum, Wrigley said. Now that we are aware of some of it, we can understand why the FBI is hiding the information.

The vast majority of Muslim terrorists have raised red flags. This includes the Pulse terrorist and the Fargo Muslim who had some very ambitious goals. Mohamad barakat packed three longguns, four handguns, a vest with magazines and a vest in each pocket as he drove around Fargo, North Dakota. The Downtown Street Fair, which boasts over 150,000 attendees, was in its second day, and only 5 minutes away. The first version of the story we received claimed that no one was aware of the Syrian immigrant’s motive and that he had never been flagged as having terrorist ties. This was not the case. Biden’s U.S. attorney has been spinning the story.
Schneider declined to confirm if Barakat is on the FBI radar. He also refused to discuss the Guardian report.
“I’m not going to say much about it except that, according to our federal partners, there is no threat of violence or an act of this nature or anything along these lines.” “I won’t say much except that it’s not, as we’re told, about a violent act or a threat.
“However, the phone caller did provide details about specific threats made Barakat did not state that he had broken any laws. The FBI stated that it forwarded the matter on to the Fargo Police Department after receiving the tip.
The FBI reported that Fargo police made three separate visits to Barakat’s residence over a two-week period. During the first and second visits there was no contact, but detectives were able to make contact during the third visit.
“During this visit the detectives observed Barakat having several firearms in his apartment. However, none of them was illegal. Barakat had no restrictions on acquiring or owning guns. Detectives interviewed Barakat about a tip they had received, and he denied having any bad intentions,” The Forum reported.
The Fargo Police Department declined to release any incident reports mentioning Barakat. Jean Syverson is the records office manager at the Fargo Police Department. She said that the BCI and FBI had requested all police reports from before the shooting.
She said that the information requested could not be released until their case was closed or inactive.
A week after the ambush, North Dakota Attorney-General Drew Wrigley acknowledged that a Guardian Report existed on Barakat. The 37-year-old Syrian immigrated to the U.S. from his native Syria in 2012, after being granted asylum.
He said that after the July 14, 2014 shooting, the FBI showed an immediate interest in Barakat and state and local police were happy to receive the agency’s help.
“But we wondered, what aren’t they telling us?” Wrigley said in a follow-up with The Forum. Now we know some of it, and we know why FBI is tying the information up so no one can view it.
