The Supreme Court’s decision to reject Joe Biden’s plan for student loans by a 6-3 margin has fiscally conscious Americans celebrating. Biden’s plan was to add an unnecessary tax burden on everyday Americans, forcing the 87% of US citizens without student debt to pay the 13% that do.
Former Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt is now a Senator. He led the fight in the state and celebrated the historic decision. He called Biden’s plan to make everyone pay for student debt unjust.
Joe Biden’s cynical campaign ploy was ‘fundamentally unfair, illegal, and unlawful. Working people who have paid off their student loans or taken another path shouldn’t be forced to pay for unpaid loans by tenured college professors.

Schmitt tweeted the breaking news, saying “I am proud to have brought this lawsuit as Missouri’s Attorney-General and saved taxpayers a half-trillion dollars.”

Senator Tim Scott also commented, saying that the ruling was based on common sense.
“Today’s Supreme Court decision overturning President Biden’s illegal student loan program is a victory of common sense. You borrow money; you repay it. This decision relieves taxpayers of debts they never agreed to.”
We all know this, but the Supreme Court has made it crystal-clear: If you borrow money, you have to pay it back.

Everyday Americans also have their say on the ruling. @Amuse tweeted a response to Alessandra Bigaggi, who complained that she was not eligible for loan forgiveness despite earning a huge salary as assistant counsel for former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. She chose to work instead for Hillary Clinton despite leaving an enormous salary to work. @Amuse tweeted that “Alessandra, the granddaughter of a US congressman, is the privileged granddaughter.” He went on to note that she attended four expensive private schools. She would like American taxpayers to pay for her overpriced education pursuits.

Nancy Pelosi, too, said that Biden lacked the authority to offer student loan forgiveness.
“People think that the President of the United States can forgive debts – he doesn’t, he has no such power. He can postpone or delay, but that is not his power. That must be done by an act of Congress.”
Nancy Pelosi, the first time she didn’t lie to the American people about Joe Biden’s power to cancel student loan, did not do so with drunken lies.

Biden announced on Friday that he was working on a plan to help those who have student loan debts under the Higher Education Act. The details of how he will provide relief are still unknown to the American public.
