Oliver Stone, a well-known screenwriter, producer, and director of films, denounced the Biden administration and claimed that he” miscalculated” by casting his vote in favor of Joe Bden. In a recent conversation with Russell Brand, the director, who is well-known for films like” Platoon ,”” Born on the Fourth of July ,” and” JFK,” expressed his regrets.
” This could lead to a third world war. In a way, this is the same situation as World War I. The stupidity of it due to the alliances, the anxieties, and the accumulated phobias. What Biden is doing if we don’t stop this, Stone said.
” I cast my vote for him. I erred by assuming that because he was getting older and would calm down and become more laid-back, among other things. I didn’t even notice that. I see a man, perhaps not in charge of his personal administration, but who knows? But elsewhere, he’s going to trip and fall. However, it appears that he is foolishly pitting us against a force that won’t back down, Stone continued.

Tuesday saw the announcement from the US Department of Defense:
To meet Ukraine’s urgent security and defense needs, the Department of Defense ( DoD ) announced today additional security assistance. Since August 2021, the U.S. government has constantly supplied Ukraine with the weapons and equipment it requires for the battlefield, and this authorization marks the forty-third drawdown of that equipment from DoD inventories for Ukraine. In order to help Ukraine combat Russia’s ongoing war of aggression, today has committed up to$ 400 million in security assistance, including more air defense munitions, artillery and other ammunition, armored vehicles, anti-armor weapons, and equipment.
According to AP:
As attacks in the war intensified to include strikes in Moscow and Crimea, the Pentagon announced on Tuesday that the Biden administration is sending up to$ 400 million in additional military aid to Ukraine, including a number of small surveillance Hornet drones and various munitions for advanced air defense systems.
The package comes with a variety of ammunition, from Stingers and Javelins to missiles for the National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System( NASAMS ) and the High – Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems ( HIMARS ). The Pentagon is able to quickly take items from its own stocks and deliver them to Ukraine, frequently within days, thanks to the political drawdown authority that is being used to provide the weapons.
Additionally, the United States is sending 28 million rounds of tiny arms ammunition, howitzer artillery rounds, 32 Stryker armoured vehicles, demolition supplies, mortars, and Hydra-70 rockets. The Hornets are small nano-drones that are primarily used for gathering intelligence. In the past, Ukraine has acquired them from additional allies in the West.
Since Russia invaded in February 2022, the U.S. has given Ukraine more than$ 43 billion in military aid total. The most recent arsenal of weapons was delivered as a Russian drone slammed into an ammunition depot in Crimea, which was annexed by Russia, and Russia accused Ukraine of carrying out an aerial attack on Moscow. One of the drones reportedly fell close to the city center, not far from the enormous Defense Ministry building, according to Soviet media.
