In Praise of Clarence Thomas

The founder of the Federalist Society and numerous other traditional organizations, Leonard Leo, is perched on a mountain of cash. Additionally, he is dispersing a lot of it. He won’t donate it to the Girl Scouts of America or any other left-wing organization. He is allocating it to right-wing causes. The Washington Post appears to be angry about this. Next week, the Post rambled on for a whole page of the newspaper, beginning on page one and continuing through page four. George Soros puts so much effort into left-wing causes. Dozens of other left-wing organizations share this trait as well. However, just left-wing publications put this much effort into their causes and refuse to acknowledge any bias at all. The Post does this for the left, and another left-wing papers do it as well, but the right wing Wall Street Journal does it for no known right or cause. They always reveal what they are doing to their readers. Typically, a right-wing paper does. It is typical of British politics in the media. Leo is unmistakably siding with those who support Clarence Thomas’ legal stances. One of the really great people to ever grace the court is Thomas. Then that I had read the whole Washington Post article, I was unable to find anything improper, wrong-headed, or perhaps offensive about what the Post had found Leo and his colleagues to be guilty of. The Post is left-wing, and Leo and his colleagues are traditional. Lighten up, guys. Nothing is incorrect about that. In a democracy, politics are supposed to operate in this manner. Leo donates cash to his pals. They don’t break any laws by making purchases. What they do with the money is not sly in any way. The Post is also surprised. The Post mentions a comedian Texas man named Harlan Crow for being especially kind to Thomas. He reportedly paid to take Clarence, his friend, on a” luxury vacation.” where we are not informed. We don’t need to know everything, though. Crow even bought Thomas a portrait of himself for Yale Law School, his alma mater. Will Yale execute it? I am unsure. A cannery, or was it a can, was mentioned in some way. I’ve forgotten. Crow has also donated money to a wing in Savannah, Georgia’s library that will bear Thomas’ name. Although I haven’t seen the library’s collection of books it, as far as I’m aware, none of them are provocative or even pornographic. Thomas is not the only courtier to receive gifts from wealthy Americans. Justice Samuel Alito was given a” fishing trip” by Leo in 2008, and another of those” billionaires” who prowl the Supreme Court gave him” free ride” in his personal jet. But hold on a second. Leo is not the only one on the court paying the tab for his friends. A kind documentary about Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was produced. The documentary’s creators also assert that its content” stands at the intersection of art and activism.” The documentary’s creator asserts to have” donated to left-leaning causes.” How beautiful. If you find this misleading, take it into account. The piece seems to go on forever. The staff at the Post appears to believe that they have discovered some sort of conspiracy that was planned by Leonard Leo and carried out by Clarence Thomas. Basically, a lot of what was published in the Post last week is common to me, so I didn’t find it all that amazing. The Post piece contained typically older news, and if there was any new information, it was false information. Think about this. The Post asserts that” Leo’s involvement in the public relations campaign, including the financial support for websites and articles supporting Thomas, has not previously been disclosed.” Leo’s involvement has been known to me almost since it started. Anyone who looked into it has as well. Leonard, this is money that was wisely spent. Continue, comrade.

Leonard Leo is the founder of Federalist Society, and other conservative groups. He has a lot of money. He is also giving away a lot of money. He does not give it to any leftist cause, or even the Girl Scouts of America. The Washington Post seems to be furious about this. The Washington Post spent a full page last week prattling on, starting on page one and continuing for an entire page – page four – within the newspaper. George Soros dedicates so much energy to left-wing issues. Dozens of similar left-wing groups also do. Only left-wing papers are so devoted to left-wing causes, and they deny any bias. The right-wing Wall Street Journal doesn’t do this, as far as I know, for any right-wing causes, but the Post and other left-wing papers do it too. They never tell readers what they’re up to. Usually, a right-wing newspaper will. It is typical of American media politics. Leo is clearly supporting people who support Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’ positions on the court. Thomas is one of our most illustrious court figures in history. I read the Washington Post article and found nothing that was illegal, wrongheaded, or even bad taste in what the Post found Leo and colleagues guilty of. Leo, his colleagues and the Post are both left-wing. Lighten up, fellas. There’s nothing wrong with it. Leo gives money to friends. Spending money does not violate any laws. They do not spend money in a sly way. The Post is still shocked. The Post mentions a Texas man named Harlan Crow who is a billionaire. He paid for Clarence to go on a “luxury holiday” with him. We are not told where. We don’t have to know all. Crow also spent money on Thomas to purchase a picture of him for his alma matter, the Yale Law School. Will Yale hang it up? I don’t know. Was it a can or a cannery that was mentioned? I forgot. Crow has also made donations to an wing of a Savannah, Georgia library that will bear Thomas’ name. I haven’t seen the catalog of books that will be displayed, but as far as I am aware, none are subversive or pornographic. Thomas is not the only member of court who has been endowed by wealthy Americans. In 2008, Leo arranged for Justice Samuel Alito to go on a “fishing tour” and another “billionaire” who hangs around the Supreme Court gave Alito a free ride in his private jet. But wait a moment. Leo isn’t the only one who pays for his friends at the court. A generous documentary was made about Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The creators of the documentary claim that it “stands at intersection of art and activist.” The founder claims to have “donated” to left-leaning cause. The piece seems to go on forever. The Post seems to believe that they have uncovered a conspiracy orchestrated by Leonard Leo, and perpetrated Clarence Thomas. I was familiar with most of what appeared in The Post last week and did not find it so shocking. It was mostly old news, and if there was anything in the Post piece that was new news, that is because the new news is misinformation.Consider this. The Post claims that “the extent of Leo’s involvement in public relations campaign including the financial support for websites and articles defending Thomas has not been disclosed previously.” I’ve known about Leo’s involvement since it started. Anyone who has looked into it knows that. Leonard, you’ve spent your money wisely. Continue on, comrade.
