At an Iowa meet and greet event, GOP nominee Ron DeSantis was greeted by a sizable number of vacant seats, according to virtual photos.
At several events this weekend across the Hawkeye State, the Florida Governor hoped to revive his waning campaign.
DeSantis traveled to Cedar Falls before eating breakfast at the Vinton Family Restaurant and leaving for Tama to attend a livestock auction.
A several dozen people were seated on benches at the auction, and the majority of the space was deserted.
In a follow-up tweet, Miller did add the following warning:” Fwiw( for what it’s for) DeSantis will be attending several events this weekend, and not all of them have been this limited.”

Photos shared online reveal that Ron DeSantis, the GOP nominee for Iowa, was met by a large number empty seats during a meet and greet.
The Florida Governor was hoping to revive his flagging campaign by attending a number events in the Hawkeye State over the weekend.
DeSantis visited Cedar Falls, ate breakfast at Vinton Family Restaurant and then went to a meet-and-greet at a livestock sale in Tama.
The image showed only a few dozen people seated on benches in the auction room, with the majority of the space empty.
Miller added a caveat to a subsequent tweet. It read: “Fwiw, (for what it’s value) DeSantis has a bunch events this weekend and not all of them have been as sparse.
“This is what you get when you have to reboot and grind it out. Lots of small events. Let Ron be Ron deal.”
The Florida Governor was mocked by Trump political advisor Steven Cheung for the small crowd that appeared at the event. Cheung wrote in an X-post: “Tiny Crowd for Ron DeSantis at a livestock auction venue.” Nobody is buying that heifer.
