Brown’s nomination was approved as a result, 83 to 11. The Republicans voted in favor of this, from Sens. Joni Ernst to Rand Paul, Blackburn to Rick Scott, Lindsey Graham to Sen. Mitt Romney. Blackburn, Rick Scott and Lindsey Graham, voted in favor of Gen. Brown. Instead, they voted to make Gen. Milley appear good.
