Governors of California have evolved into rubber stamps for the madness of a communist one-party legislature. They rarely veto legislation for financial or power-sharing reasons. This veto is not the same as others. Gov. Later on Friday night, Gavin Newsom issued three vetoes that will undoubtedly infuriate his progressive allies, including an unexpected denial of a bill that would have required judges to take children’s gender identities into account when making custody decisions.

However, I don’t think for a second that Newsom committed an act of decency in this instance. The only real reason he would remove two items from a communist wishlist where state politicians have had free reign are to protect illegal aliens and transgender children, and that is the presidential race. Gov. A lot of time and money have now been invested by Newsom in creating a federal profile. He therefore retreated, supported Biden, and ran his campaign. Newsom has frequently stated that he is not Biden’s opponent. But why alienate the stupid fanatics of your own state in order to increase national credibility in 2028? If you were running in 2024, this is the kind of decision you would make. Is that a given? Who is to say? But Newsom seems to be getting ready for the chance once more. These, it appears that Biden will withdraw from the class. Although it might not occur, it appears that Newsom is at least angling for it.

The only reason Newsom would remove two items from a leftist wishlist, where state politicians had free reign to transgender children and protect illegal aliens, is a presidential campaign. Newsom has spent a great deal of time and resources building a national reputation. He then backed Biden and campaigned on his behalf. Newsom has repeatedly said that he is not running against Biden. But why alienate your state’s insane fans just to build up some national credibility for the 2028 election? This is what you would do if you were planning to run in 2024. Is it a sure thing? Who knows? Newsom seems to be preparing for this opportunity again. It seems that Biden is going to drop out. It may not happen but it seems like Newsom wants it to at least.
