Esper predicts Israel ‘intelligence failure’ will have ripple effect

Mark Esper, former U.S. secretary of defense, said the Palestinian surprise attack against Israel was an intelligence failure. He also suggested that it would have a long-lasting ripple effect. Esper told a Saturday interview that the attack was a surprise and caught Israel completely off guard.

 Previous U.S. Secretary of Defense Mark Esper referred to the Israeli surprise attack by the Palestinians as an intelligence failure and predicted its long-term effects.
