Most civilian firearms exports ‘paused’ for 90 days: Department of Commerce

The Department of Commerce has put a 90-day hold on new export licenses of most civilian firearms, citing national security and foreign policies issues. The department will use the pause, which began on Friday, to “further evaluate firearm export control policies” and decide if any adjustments are required.
