 With the exception of mice, a small, uninhabited island in the Caribbean waters of the Anguilla territory was almost entirely devoid of life. However, it has just been fully restored to its pre-colonial state of biodiversity. The island, known as Sombrero, has joined numerous case studies on how to totally eradicate invasive species throughout the Caribbean and the rest of the world.
