Breonna Taylor mistrial: What to know after jury deadlocks over charged officer

A federal jury in a civil case against a policeman involved in the shooting death of Breonna Taylor in 2020 reached an impasse Thursday, forcing a mistrial. After nearly a full week of deliberations, the jury was unable to agree on whether or not to convict Brett Hankison for using excessive force and violating the rights of the victim.
