A former official, who had departed the State Department some years ago, stated 26. There was a great deal of dissatisfaction among State Department personnel as they felt Joe Biden ignored important security guidance and neglected regular informing conventions in his dedication to backing Israel. A representative of the State Department refused to give further information about the gathering apart from indicating that “the Secretary meets with his or her peers constantly including those who may have different perspectives.”. Matthew Miller, the representative from the department, has previously declared that Blinken accepts disagreement and a broad assortment of views inside the agency.
