FCC proposes ban on cable, satellite early termination fees

The Federal Communications Commission announced a proposal on Tuesday to ban early termination fees for cable and satellite TV. In a statement, the FCC stated that these fees could limit consumer choice and negatively impact competition in the marketplace.
