Johnson taps former Fox executive to run House GOP messaging

Speaker Mike Johnson (R. La.) Wednesday, Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) announced a number of new hires in the Speakership Office. Former Fox executive Raj Shah was hired to manage the messaging for the House GOP. Johnson’s announcement stated that Shah would be the deputy chief for communications in his office, a new position for the former senior Vice President.

 Mike Johnson, a speaker( R – La. ) announced a list of new hires for the Speakership office on Wednesday, including the hiring of past Fox executive Raj Shah to handle the messaging of the House GOP. According to Johnson’s announcement, Shah will take on the novel position of deputy chief of staff for communications in his office. Mike Johnson, a speaker( R – La. ) Raj Shah, a previous Fox executive, will be running the House GOP’s messaging as part of the Speakership announcement on Wednesday. Shah will be the deputy chief of staff for communications in Johnson’s office, according to his announcement, a new position for the past senior vice president.
