Those who chipped in to the story all desired to keep their identities secret due to a lingering dread of an unpleasant outcome. Ranging from entry-level employees to experienced personnel, people from ideologically moderate and liberal congressional offices, both in the Senate and House of Representatives, shared similar sentiments. Many reported feeling like they had considered leaving their job. But they asked who else would advocate as strongly for Palestinians if they were to depart..
