Puerto Rico raises alarms as FEMA ends power generation mission

The government and private institutions of Puerto Rico are concerned that the island’s electrical grid could collapse again after federal officials announced that they had ended an emergency power generation mission. Federal Emergency Management Agency officials informed Puerto Rico’s Reconstruction Authority, Cor3, last month that it would cease operating by March 15, two emergency power generation missions.

 Following federal officials ‘ announcement of the conclusion of an emergency power generation mission, Puerto Rico’s government and private institutions are concerned that the electrical grid on the island may once again fail. Officials from the Federal Emergency Management Agency ( FEMA ) informed Puerto Rico’s reconstruction authority, known as Cor3, last month that it would stop operations due to two emergencies by March15… Following federal officials ‘ announcement of the conclusion of an emergency power generation mission, Puerto Rico’s government and private institutions are concerned that the island ‘ electric grid may collapse once more.
