Santos won’t run for reelection in 2024

Rep. George Santos announced Thursday that he would not run for reelection to Congress in 2024. This announcement came shortly after the House Ethics Committee issued a report detailing “substantial” evidence that the embattled Congressman had “violated federal laws.” Santos did not state he was resigning from Congress.
