SpaceX counts Starship second test a win despite losing contact

SpaceX described its Starship rocket, which appeared to self-destruct in mid-flight, as a successful test, since it was the first time the craft had made it into space. The launch was the Starship’s second attempt after an earlier version blew up the launchpad in Boca Chica Texas.
