Trump describes imprisoned Jan. 6 rioters as ‘hostages’

Former President Trump referred to those in jail for their actions during the riot on Jan. 6, 2021 at the Capitol, as “hostages”, during a rally held with supporters in Texas. Trump walked onto the stage at a Houston event to Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless The USA” as he usually does. When the song ended, it was replaced by a different song.
