William Lewis named as new Washington Post publisher/CEO

William Lewis, an ex-reporter who has now become a senior executive, was named as the new CEO and Publisher of The Washington Post by the company on Saturday. The Post reported that Lewis spent years in British media, and with Rupert Murdoch’s companies. He was CEO of Dow Jones for six years and publisher of the Wall Street Journal.

 The Washington Post announced on Saturday that William Lewis, a previous reporter who later became an executive, has been named the new CEO and publisher. According to the Post, Lewis has worked for Rupert Murdoch-owned businesses and the American media for years.
