Biden hits Trump over travel ban threats on anniversary of ‘Muslim ban’ proposal

President Biden took aim at the former President Trump’s policies on Thursday, marking the eighth anniversary of the “Muslim Ban” that Trump pushed in the 2016 election. Trump made the proposal in December 2015. He was running for the Republican nomination at the time.

 As the eight-year anniversary of the so-called” Sunni ban” pushed by Trump in the 2016 election, President Biden took aim at former President Trump’s travel ban policies on Thursday. When running for the Democratic presidential nomination in December 2015, Trump made the proposal public, calling for” a full and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States.” On Thursday, President Biden attacked the travel ban policies of former President Trump, commemorating the eight-year anniversary of the so-called” Arab ban” that Trump had pushed for in the 2016 election. When running for the Republican nomination for president in December 2015, Trump made the proposal public, calling for” a full and full shutdown of Muslims entering the United States.”
