 A federal judge on Friday denied a request from ranching groups to halt the release of black wolves, suggesting that the reintroduction of the animals in Colorado could proceed as quickly as this weekend. Judge Regina stated that it is understandable that the petitioners, who have long lived and worked on the land, are worried about the reintroduction’s potential effects.
