 The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, or COPPA, was proposed to be updated in 2023, with restrictions on nagging children to stay online and a reduction in the amount of information that can be gathered about them while they are using their parents ‘ devices. The most recent update, which addressed social media and mobile devices ( how cute ), was released in 2013.
