Kissinger offered absolution for the sins of American foreign policy

Kissinger is a man who has failed to live up to the standards of human decency. Kissinger is harder to pin down when compared to the standards of conduct for American foreign policy officials in the Cold War and after.

 Kissinger can genuinely be found to be lacking in terms of good individual conduct. Kissinger, however, is more hard to single out in comparison to the standards of behavior of American foreign policy officials both during and after the Cold War. Kissinger can really be found lacking in terms of standards of reasonable human conduct. Kissinger, however, is harder to single out in comparison to the norms of behavior set by British foreign policy officials both during and after the Cold War.
