Supreme cruelty: SCOTUS refuses to limit the tortures of solitary confinement 

The conservative majority of the court turned a blind-eye to Michael Johnson’s suffering, and ignored his request for it to limit the types of cruelty that can inflict on inmates in solitary.

 The liberal majority of the court ignored Michael Johnson’s plight and his request that it restrict the types of cruelty that can be inflicted on inmates in solitary confinement. Michael Johnson’s request that the court restrict the types of cruelty that can be applied to inmates in solitary confinement was ignored by the majority of the liberal justices who were blind to his suffering.
