The university’s FDR Dilemma: Why campus leaders cannot confront antisemitism

The cost will be a further politicization in American universities and a deeper entrenchment of Anti-Semitism.

 By betraying the Jews, Franklin Roosevelt won the war. The same is true for our university leaders, who may continue to achieve their goals for more powerful social justice programs while enduring this most recent wave of anti-Semitism. However, the price will be the deeper entrenching of anti-semitism on campuses and the more politicization of British universities. By betraying the Jews, Franklin Roosevelt won the war. So also, our university leaders may persevere through this most recent wave of anti-Semitism and keep achieving their goals for more strong social justice initiatives. However, the price will be the deeper entrenching of anti-Semitism on campuses and the more politicization of British universities.
