Where the Harvard, Penn and MIT presidents dropped the ball on hate speech

When vicious speech is not addressed and condemned it can fester until it leads to hate crimes.

 Violent speech can fester in the public’s mind and become hate-motivated crimes if it is n’t addressed and condemned. When offensive language is not addressed and condemned, it may fester in the public’s mind and eventually result in crimes motivated by hatred.
