Democrat Frost challenges GOP to introduce bill to remove Statue of Liberty

Rep. Maxwell Frost, a first-term legislator from Florida, challenged his Republican colleagues in the House to introduce a Bill that would remove the Statue of Liberty due to their positions on immigration at the southern borders. Frost, a new legislator, read a part of “The New Colossus,” a poem that was cast and mounted to the lower level of Statue of Liberty.

 Due to their views on immigration at the southern border, Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-Fla. ) challenged his Republican colleagues to introduce a bill that would eliminate the Statue of Liberty.
