Federal Judge Dismisses Counts In Lawsuit Against Trump, Rioters Over Death Of Capitol Police Officer

Amit Mehta, U.S. District Court judge, dismissed the civil counts of wrongful death and negligent conduct but allowed the lawsuit to continue.

 Judge Amit Mehta of the U.S. District Court dismissed the legal counts of wrongful death and negligence but is still allowing the case to go forward. The legal counts of unlawful death and negligence were dismissed by U.S. District Court Judge Amit Mehta, but he is still allowing the case to go forward.
