George Conway was ‘flattered’ by mention of his name in E. Jean Carroll’s Trump suit

Conway, a conservative attorney, said that while it was “bizarre,” he was “flattered” to have been named in E. Jean Carroll’s defamation lawsuit against former President Trump. In an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Conway explained he met Carroll “a week or two” after he read the excerpt in New York Magazine.

 George Conway, a liberal attorney, claimed that he was “flattered” to be named in author E. Jean Carroll’s defamation lawsuit against former President Trump. Conway revealed that he first met Carroll in 2019—a “week or two” after the excerpt appeared in New York Magazine—in an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper. While it was “bizarre” to be named in author E. Jean Carroll’s defamation lawsuit against former President Trump, conventional attorney George Conway claimed that he felt “flattered.” Conway revealed that he first met Carroll in 2019—a “week or two” after the New York Magazine excerpt appeared there—in an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper.
