Indian Teen Invents Gadget to Transform Dementia Care Out of Concern for His Grandmother

A self-described ‘nerd,’ an Indian teenager who loves robotics and his grandmother Jayasree very much. Together, they inspired him to invent a new invention which could improve the care of Alzheimer’s patients. Hemesh Chadalavada, then 12, was watching his grandmother in the kitchen one summer evening of 2018.

Collectively, they inspired him to develop a brand-new device that could significantly enhance Alzheimer’s patient care. When Hemesh Chadalavada was 12 years older, he saw his grandmother enter the kitchen on a summer evening in 2018.
