Israel withdraws some forces, shifts gears in Gaza

Israel withdrew its tanks from parts Gaza City on Sunday, as part of an earlier announced plan to respond and safeguard the Israeli economy. Israel Defense Forces are expected to continue their operations in Gaza for several months, focusing more on “sopping up” Hamas terrorists than a full-scale attack, according to reports.

 As part of a previously announced strategy to address changing martial needs in Gaza and protect the Israeli economy, Israel withdrew tanks from some areas of Gaza City on Monday.
