After her non-violent attempt to enter the State House in Boston, Michelle Efendi, a 37-year-old mother of four, could spend six months behind bars. The incident happened not long after the State House’s COVID- 19 closure and common reopening. She gave Dr. Drew Pinsky, a radio host, an explanation of her visit, saying,” I wanted to meet my elected officials.” No one was returning emails or answering the phone. The worries I had went unanswered by anyone.
Efendi, a former liberal who has publicly admitted that she always received the shot, claimed she only managed to get past the officer she was accused of assaulting by refusing to present her COVID-19 vaccine passport.
She claimed that on the day of her arrest, she squeaked past a police officer to get past another protester and into the State House tent. She says to NewBostonPost,” If I did it, it would have been just like walking past someone on the MBTA,” but she is unsure of the exact moment she assaulted the victim. Truly. It was comparable to being at a parade. The man I reportedly assaulted is standing there with his hands in his pocket, as you can see.
She is seen entering the tent and being taken into custody by a Massachusetts state trooper in video footage of the incident.
She explained that despite initially being terrified of the virus and yet accusing local authorities of not doing enough to combat it, she eventually changed her mind and decided against the mandates for masks and vaccinations.
I was forced to give birth in a mask and was terrified that my husband would be forcibly immunized in order to keep his job, she wrote on her blog post. I came to understand that the real threat was n’t COVID but rather the government.
The Suffolk County district attorney is” deliberately prosecuting” vaccine opponents.
She claimed that despite Massachusetts ‘ dismissal of accusations against climate protesters who in the past disrupted State House proceedings by dropping their pants and refusing to leave, the state will not do so. Her legal team’s statistical analysis revealed that Kevin Hayden, the district attorney for Suffolk County, has been” carefully prosecuting” vaccine protesters while allowing other types of protestors to proceed unpunished.
Efendi claimed that she has never had a parking ticket and has no legal history whatsoever. She has since relocated to Florida and was unsure of how she will get back to Massachusetts for her court hearing before being granted permission to use Zoom to attend the hearing.
She claimed that she dislikes using the word “protest” to describe her efforts to speak out against vaccine regulations. Rather, she claims that she resisted going into places where masks were required and going about her daily activities until staff members approached her and demanded her to leave. The USS Constitution Museum and the Boston Public Library in the Back Bay are two locations where she used this strategy.
She claims that she is being silenced because she attempted to object to the mandates, saying,” I believe that I was detained on March1st in an effort to silence my civil rights, which are to participate in peaceful protest.” And it’s working because I’m no longer protesting.

A Massachusetts woman faces jail time for trespassing and assault on a court official after she tried to enter the State House with no proof of COVID-19 vaccine.

Michelle Efendi (37-year-old mother-of-four) could spend six months in prison after her nonviolent attempt to gain entry into the State House of Boston. The incident occurred shortly after the State House was reopened for the public following the COVID-19 shutdown. She told Dr. Drew Pinsky the reason for her trip: “I wanted my elected officials to meet me.” No one answered the phone or responded to emails. “No one was responding to my concerns.”
Efendi describes herself as an ex-liberal. She said that she only managed to squeeze past the officer with whom she was charged after refusing a COVID-19 vaccination passport. She has publicly admitted that she never received the vaccine.
She claimed that, on the day she was arrested, she squeezed past a police officer to enter a tent near the State House so she could be detained in solidarity with another demonstrator. She does not know when she assaulted anyone, but told NewBostonPost that “if I did it, then it would have been like walking past someone on the MBTA.” Really. It would have felt like being at a festival. You can see that man who I allegedly assaulted, standing there with his hand in his pocket.”
In the video footage, she is seen walking into the tent before being arrested by a Massachusetts State trooper.
She said that she was initially afraid of the virus, and even went so far as to accuse the local officials of doing not enough, but eventually changed her mind, and came down against the mask and vaccine mandates.
She wrote on her blog: “I had to give birth wearing a mask, and I was terrified that my husband would have to be forced-vaccinated in order to keep his job. I realized that the real threat was not COVID, but the government.
Suffolk County DA “selectively” prosecutes vaccine protestors
She said that despite Massachusetts dismissing charges similar to hers in the past against climate protestors, who disrupted State House proceedings by dropping their pants and refusing leave, the state refused to drop the charges she faces. Her legal team conducted a statistical analysis that found the Suffolk County district attorney, Kevin Hayden had been “selectively prosecuting vaccine protestors” while letting other protestors go free.
Efendi claimed that she has never received a parking fine and has no criminal history. She moved to Florida in the meantime and wasn’t sure how she was going to get back to Massachusetts for her hearing. However, she was allowed to attend via Zoom.
She said she doesn’t like the term “protest” when describing her efforts to speak against vaccine mandates. She says that she refused to wear masks in places where they were required, and went about her normal day until the employees asked her to leave. She used this method at the Boston Public Library, located in Back Bay, and the USS Constitution Museum.
She believes she was arrested for peacefully protesting the mandates. It’s working because I no longer protest.
