Senate Democrat says DNC ‘made a terrible decision’ in trying to alter primary calendar

Sen. Maggie Hassan, D-N.H., blasted the Democratic National Committee on Sunday for allowing South Carolina as the first primary in place of New Hampshire. Hassan stated, “What we’re seeing in New Hampshire is the passion and dedication to democracy that are one of the hallmarks for our state.”

 Sen. Maggie Hassan of the Democratic National Committee ( DNC ) was criticized on Sunday for allowing South Carolina to hold the first primary rather than New Hampshire. Well, Hassan said,” Well, what we’re seeing on the ground right now in New Hampshire is the passion and commitment to democracy that is one of the hallmarks of our state.” On Sunday, Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-NH) criticized the Democratic National Committee for allowing South Carolina—rather than New Hampshire—to hold the second primary. Well, Hassan said,” Well, what we’re seeing on the ground right now in New Hampshire is the passion and commitment to democracy that is one of the hallmarks of our state.”
