 According to a judge’s decision on Wednesday, the trial for Salman Rushdie, who is accused of stabbing the author, has been postponed because of his future memoir about the incident. On Wednesday, a county judge in New York sided with Hadi Matar’s defense attorney, contending that the latter is legally entitled to see the draft of Rushdie ‘ upcoming memoir. According to a judge’s decision on Wednesday, the trial for the man accused of stabbing author Salman Rushdie has been postponed in light of that memoir.
