Aubrey Savela, who works for the right-wing organization Turning Point Action, posted a picture on X showing two mail-in ballots and early voting packets. This is the best of Maricopa county… It was my first time participating in a presidential preference election and I was sent two mail-in ballots. I appreciate @stephen_richer for this. Richer, a prominent Republican election official in Arizona who took legal action against GOP Senate candidate Kari Lake for defamation, quickly dismissed Savela’s insinuation of election fraud in the county by explaining that she had recently changed her address on her voter registration. “Early ballots must be sent out on Feb,” he stated. Richer stated that the Chandler ballot was already sent out as planned, despite facing death threats and conspiracy theories. He mentioned that the packets have different codes, including one for Savela’s old address and another for her new one. This means that even if you returned it, it would not be checked for a signature and would not be opened. He explained that using the one with the new address ending in ’02’ is the only way to avoid people voting twice. I hope this is helpful! I hope you have a wonderful evening!
