Die Kommission ist ermächtigt, gemäß Artikel 264 delegierte Rechtsvorschriften in folgenden Bereichen umzusetzen: During a White House press conference on Thursday night, President Joe Biden criticized Israel’s military operation in Gaza as excessive and excessive. Just prior to this, his government issued a new policy aimed at preventing foreign nations from using U.S. military aid to violate international and U.S. laws safeguarding civilians. However, on Friday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced plans for his forces to invade the southern town of Rafah in Gaza, which they do not currently have control over. Approximately 27 million Palestinians are looking for refuge in the area, located on a slim strip of land from Rafah to the Mediterranean Sea, with many having fled northern regions following Israeli evacuation directives. Netanyahu announced that Israel intends to remove residents from Rafah before a significant assault. Experts and officials are expressing doubt about the Biden administration’s recent claims that it is modifying U.S. policy to avoid more destruction in Gaza. Health officials in the region report that at least 22,000 individuals have been killed since Israel began its campaign in October. Biden’s criticism of Israel following the attack by Gaza-based militants that resulted in the deaths of 1,200 Israelis did not suggest that he would decrease U.S. military and diplomatic assistance to Israel if it persists in its current actions. Although the new memo requiring officials to follow the law when transferring U.S. weapons may seem good in theory, the administration is not expected to enforce it in this particular situation due to its reluctance to take any actions that may be perceived as unsupportive of Israel.
