Sam Bankman-Fried stole$ 10 billion from his cryptocurrency exchange platform before being detained on seven counts of fraud and conspiracy.

In the second jailhouse photo of the humiliated crypto kingpin after he was found guilty of fraud, Sam Bankman-Fried, who had matted hair and a beard, was shown with another Bloods gang member.
Tiffany Fong, a crypto crime reporter, uploaded the picture to YouTube on Monday, noting that the prisoner standing next to the shamed FTX boss is gangster G- Lock, whom she had spoken with.
Six weeks after Bankman-Fried was found guilty of all seven fraud and conspiracy charges connected to stealing$ 10 billion from users of his failed cryptocurrency exchange, G Lock informed Fong that the picture was taken on December 17 at the troubled Metropolitan Detention Center.
G Lock, who told Fong that Bankman-Fried, a 31-year-old past billionaire, is” a fine guy,” can be seen with him wearing an oversized T-shirt and gym shorts as he waits to be sentenced on March 28 at the Brooklyn jail. Strange as s–t can also be weird. However, he is a decent man.
Inmates are just permitted to be photographed during Christmas and Father’s Day at the jail.
The image is sweeping cultural media like wildfire:

When BI contacted representatives for Bankman-Fried and the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, they declined to comment on Fong’s photo.
Bankman-Fried has been detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since August. After US District Judge Lewis Kaplan stated that there was “probable cause to believe” that he had attempted to “tamper with witnesses,” the man was immediately placed under house arrest but was later remanded.
One former warden referred to the Brooklyn prison as” the most stressed facility in the Bureau of Prisons” because of its subpar living conditions.
Bankman-Fried must find ways to pass the time without using the internet because inmates are just permitted to use radios or MP3 players, in addition to battling with the hygiene requirements in prison.
In his legal trial in Manhattan federal court in November, a jury found Bankman-Fried innocent of seven counts of fraud and conspiracy.
Many of these cryptocurrency scams end up destroying people’s lives.
People invest their savings in these wallets in the hopes of becoming the future billionaire with bitcoin.
However, a lot of bad people take advantage of other people’s optimism and use it to their advantage.
Sam was put behind bars by the judge, which was the correct decision.”}]] [[{“value”:”

When BI contacted them for comment, representatives for Bankman-Fried as well as the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center refused to comment on Fong’s photo.
Bankman-Fried is currently being held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center. He was initially put under house arrest, but was remanded when US District Judge Lewis Kaplan found probable cause to suspect that he had tried to “tamper” with witnesses.
Brooklyn Prison is notorious for its poor living standards. One former warden called it “the most troubled prison in the Bureau of Prisons.”
