According to Fox News:
The books mentioned in the video were” Naked: Not Your Average Sex Encyclopedia” by Myriam Daguzan Bernier and” Queer, 2nd Edition: The Ultimate LGBTQ Guide for Teens” written by Kathy Belge and Marke Bieschke.
According to some X responses, the video was originally blocked for breaking the platform’s guidelines against “hateful conduct.”
Gomez’s campaign was contacted by Fox News Digital for a comment.
Gomez’s post was comparable to one that featured Bill Eigel, a Republican presidential candidate for governor in 2024, and Missouri state senator. At the St. Charles County Freedom Fest celebration on September 15 outside of Saint Louis, Missouri Republican state Sen. Nick Schroer and Eigel were seen in the video shooting flames at cardboard boxes.
