The continuous flow of extreme and irresponsible statements from Trump has been so excessive that it has become important for one’s mental well-being to not focus on each individual statement. However, it is crucial to take note of his most provocative remarks, as they demonstrate the extreme level of danger he poses. In late January, Trump assured Nevada voters that there is a certainty of a terrorist attack happening, possibly multiple attacks. He appeared to be relying on an unsupported assertion that there has been an increase in the number of terrorists crossing the southern border. Not much has been said about Trump’s scare tactics in Las Vegas, although they were acknowledged by late night TV host Jimmy Kimmel. Maybe Trump’s reckless forecast about terrorist attacks has been overshadowed by the media focus on the $83.3 million jury ruling in E. Jean Carroll’s defamation lawsuit against Trump, as well as the over $350 million court verdict against him in a civil fraud case. Trump’s increased attempt to inspire fear in Americans for them to vote for him should be acknowledged.
